My Story

Redwood Bank is a specialist business bank headquartered in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. Our colleagues are coming together to raise funds to support the formation of a new Skills Matching Hub within the Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF).

The Skills Matching Hub aims to connect local businesses and individuals with voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in need of help and assistance on a pro bono basis. The support to be made available could include:

•Access to professional services which might otherwise be inaccessible to them.

•Support to improve organisational effectiveness or strengthening leadership capability.

•Ability to grow organisational capacity to improve or extend support to their beneficiaries.

•Opportunity to expand networks by making contacts with local businesses.

Colleagues from Redwood Bank will be running a range of distances between 5km, 10km, half marathon and 20 miles to raise £5,000 to fund the Skills Matching Hub for 12 months.
